Someone who acts miserable and not happy about life regardless of the circumstances they are dealt.
God is a faithful god but people take him and his blessings for granted
2 Timothy 3:1
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
Don’t get into the habit of complaining regardless at what goes an in your life
We as children of god need to live in a constant state of thanking god.
You may thank you life is horrible but someone always have it worse off then you and in those not so good times you should rejoice and gave praise you are still here.
Jesus died for you and because of that you should be thankful for that alone.
If we saw a glimpse of hell our behavior /etc. would be different
Revelation 20:11-15
And I saw a great while throne , and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away ; and there was found no place for them . And I saw the dead small and great stand before god and the books were opened :and another book was opened ,which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written into the books , according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it ; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire . this is the second death and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
We must ensure not to get into the habit of trivializing
The blessings of god and being blind to them that you forget to thank him and give him glory
You are not the creator of all good things in your life god is every success you have experienced its not because you have all these qualities that you work hard its because of god that these things happen.
Romans 1:18-32
For the wrath of god if revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness ; because that which man be known of god is manifest in them for god hath shewed it unto them .
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made , even his eternal power and godhead; so that they are without excuse :
Because that, when they knew God , they glorified him not as god, neither were thankful ; but because vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened .
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible god into an image made like corruptible man , and to birds, and fourfooted beasts and creeping things.
Wherefore god also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves :
Who changed the truth of god into a live and worshipped and served the creature more that the creative , who is blessed forever amen
For this cause god gave them up unto vile affections : for ever their woman did change the natural use into that which is against nature . And likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burning in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meant and even as they did not like to retain god in their knowledge , god gave them over to reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient being filled with all unrighteousness fornication wickedness convettousness maliciousness ; full of envy murder debate deceit malignity whispers backbiting haters of god despiteful proud boasters inventers of evil things disobedient to parents without understanding covenant breakers without natural affections .
Implaceable , unmerciful who knowing the judgement a god , that they which commit such things are worthy of death , not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.
Luke 17:11-19
And it came to pass , as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said , Jesus , Master, have mercy on us .
And when he saw them , he said unto them , go shew yourselves unto the priests . and it came to pass , that as they went , they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified god,
And fell down on his face and his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said were there not ten cleansed?
But where are the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to god save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise go thy way :thy faith hath made thee whole.
Why should we thank god?
Firstly all we should know is being grateful is not a ritual its not an activity we do it to be genuine and pure and our hearts content to the one who owns us.
Its acknowledgement to his leadship and leadership in our lives
That we see him in every aspect of our lives regardless of what is happening , around us your peace happiness is your choice you can choose to give your emotions flesh to the devil or declare peace harmony in your life and not let anything else affect you and your soul
It feels like thousands of reasons why we show gratitude and appreciate to god
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is the will of god in Jesus Christ concerning you .
Giving thanks means when you face bad and ugly.
The most trying times in your life . when you experience a major breakthrough and everything seems to be working out
Give thanks every time as always it is the will concerning us that we should acknowledge him in every stage of our lives and give glory and honor.
A thankful heart is a joyful heart when we become thankful we begin to recount his blessings and faithfulness in our lives
our hearts begun to learn of his good deeds and works.
We count his blessings that anything we haven’t received either isn’t the right timing or not ready to receive it yet gratitude silences murmers and complaints
am ungrateful heart doesn’t only heard Gods blessing and goodness it also fails to recognize and return the glory to him for the daily benefits it gets in the way it begins to get pompous and think whatsoever is happening to them is a result at personal effort and understanding it can go as far as saying unthankfulness is a sign you are full of pride self-acknowledgement self -glorification and self -advocation.
Praising him will open great doors and open up to the excessing of more from the father.
Give thanks glory honor and praise to the god that makes all things possible.
