The Devil’s plans for Churches seeker- friendly churches there is a trend is common are always filled up because of what they are being told these churches say to people what they want to hear and not what they need to hear . a church is not here for you to build your self esteem or for you to learn how to become a millionaire or for you to learn five successful principles of property the church is here to preach the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ in whatever communication. the church is to be a lighthouse it is to be a beacon in the community directing people toward Jesus Christ. The devil is after the church he wants to do everything, he came to infiltrate the church and we see what will happen to parts of the church before the second coming of Christ.
2 Timothy 4:1-5
I charge thee therefore before God, and the lord Jesus Christ , who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season ;reprove rebuke, short with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they leap to themselves teachers, having itching ears , and they shall turn away their ears from the truth , and shall be turned unto fables , but watch thou in all things endure affliction, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
The passage of scripture tells us that there is a time coming when some churches will prefer telling churches will prefer telling people what they want to hear and not the word of God that they need to hear.
Paul told us that this time will come, and it has been here for a long time more and more people are steering away from healthy sound doctrine like the doctrine of repentance. People look at repentance as if it is some outdated thing that only happened in the bible no even in the day we live In the now we are to repent and believe the bible says come as you are, but it does not say stay as you are.
Revelation 22:17
The spirit and the bride say, come “Come” Let anyone who hears this say “ Come” Let anyone who is thirsty come . Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life freely.
First then come no whosoever will let him come if you are an adultery come. If you are a fornicator, come?
If you are an alcoholic come?
if you are a liar come?
If you were a idolater come?
Whosoever let him come god requires us to confess and forsake our sins when we come to him but he receives us just as we are then begins to change us as we summit in obedience yes come as you are but don’t stay there but unfortunately many churches now preach to people and tell them that they can stay as they are I mean you can attend one of the churches for a whole year and never once will you hear a sermon on sin or repentance more and more people are steering towards man-made doctrines that are rooted in carnal fleshly desires the gospel message is not an easy message to accept because the gospel message tell you who you really are Some of the followers of Jesus Christ complained about some of the lord’s words and they even walked away from the lord Jesus Christ .
John 6: 60-66
Many of his disciples said, this is very hard to understand. How can anyone accept it? Jesus was aware that his disciples were complaining, so he said to them , does this offend you ? then what will you think if you see the son of man ascend to heaven again? The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life . but some of you do not believe me,” ( for Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn’t believe, and he knew who would betray him.) then he said , that is why I said that people can’t come to me unless the father gives them to me.” At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him.
Today many way from the lord truths some that preach the doctrine now trach as acceptable the very evil the bible condemns at the core of each person there is a desire and yearning for god they can deny it and suppress this yearning for him and live a unfulfilled life but god has made it so that we all have a conscious a conscious that is moved and packed and disturbed when it hears the gospel message
Why is the human conscious disturbed when it hears the gospel message because it knows when it hears the true message when people hear there is a god who created the heavens and the earth their conscious tells them that this is true that everything couldn’t be here by accident the world and all its complexities.
When people hear that the god that created them that that he formed them he designed them in his own image and that humans beings are not animals that they are not a mishap of the evolutionary process their conscious tells them its true . When people hear that the god created the universe and Im god who created humanity therefore expects his creation to love him and obey the laws he has set in his universe their conscious tells them its true
Why do people fight the conscious is saying if they know the truth .
We are all guilty and you know its true the gospel message points the finger and has fallen short of the law of the infinite lord.
2 Timothy 4:3
For the time will come when they will not endure doctrine , but according to their own desires because they have itching ears , they will leap up for themselves . Their conscious tells them that there are requirements from god that hasn’t been met yet Love one another because all humans are made in the image of god and are there fore special in the eyes of god . When people hear trust god requires that we love him with all our heart soul and mind .
John 4:15
if you love me keep my commandment.
But people don’t live what their conscious is letting them because they have not kept his commandments they know they aren’t following his will and blueprint They have offended and disobeyed god
Who wants to know god is angry with them? who wants to know that their actions thoughts will one day be examined who wants to know that . That all their sins will be judged and the punishment for each will be everlasting who wants to know they will be in the lake of fire for eternity So people want to hear what’s pleasing to the flesh
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
For such apostles, deceitful workers transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. and no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into the angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing it his ministries also be transformed as the ministry of righteous , whose end shall be according to their works.
John 8:44
For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning, he has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character ;for he is a liar and the father of lies. If they know you do wrong and all they do is agree with you and not tell you the truth that you have done wrong and correct you with love you need to run from them the bible didn’t speak of comforting one another or cover sin encouraging sin in the bible is not Christ like to ignore the sin we are charged to righteously judge our brother and sister in Christ.
The church that is not telling you about heaven and your wrongs ids not the church of Christ there are many churches of Satan out there now we need to open our eyes to see them clearly and avoid them god is not in there .
