Seven Characteristics that God Hates
Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things doth the lord Hate : yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood
A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Even though these are not all the sins and only one to avoid are the majority at the evil that God condemns
The sins that deal with the individuals deep heart motives
Sin is committed at the points it is conceived in the heart even before it is actually committed
Avoiding the Seven things God despises will assist us in revealing for hidden intention and motives.
Arrogent or haughty eyes- sense of pride look down or others
Phillippians 2:5-11
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Jesus Christ
Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with god : But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man , he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death , even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name : That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord , to the glory of God the father.
Phillipians 2:3
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; vut in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
When we think of ourselves more highly we forget the fact that anything good in us is the result of Christ living in us, and the old self is now dead that when you are reborn unto Christ.
Galations 2:20

Lying Tongue
A lying tongue is one that speaks falsely knowingly and willingly with the intent of deceiving others.
Lying can be used to cast doubt on a brother’s character or to flatter a friend
It is evil to God who is a God of the truth
Nothing we do causes us to more closely resemble the devil who is the father of lies .
John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth , for there is no truth in him . When he lies , he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and father of lies
Lying is a sin that offends God.
First sin committed in the world was a lie to Eve.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor
Exodus 20:16
You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor
Annanias and Sapphira lied about a donation in the early church in order to appear more generous that they were God’s wrath was harsher
The couple died as a result of their lying sin
Acts 5 :1-11
Now a man named Ananias together with his wife Sapphira also sold a piece of property. With his wife’s full knowledge, he kept back some of the proceeds for himself , but brought a portion and laid it at the apostles’ feet. Then Peter said, “ Ananais, how is it that Satan has filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and withhold some of the proceeds from the land? Did it not belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold , was it not at your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God “.
On hearing these words. Ananias fell down and died . And great fear came over all who heard what had happened . Then the young men stepped forward, wrapped up his body and carried him out and buried him.
About three hours later his wife also came in, unaware of what had happened . Tell me,” said Peter,” is this the price you and your husband got for the land?
Yes she answered , “ that is the price.” How could you agree to test the Spirit of the lord?” Peter replied. “ Look , the feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”
At that instant she fell down at his feet and died . Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband . And Great fear came over the whole church and all who heard about these events.
Colossians 3:9
Do not lie to each other , since you have taken off your old self with its practices
1st Timothy 1:9- 11

Liars will be judged in the end.
Revelation 21:8

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being , that he should change his mind . does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fufill?

1st John 3:15
Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer.

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. All this I will give You,’’ he said, If you will fall down and worship me,’’
Away from Me, Satan ! Jesus declared. For it is written :
Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.
Then the devil left him, and angels came and ministered to him.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves , then to god , Resist the devil , and he will flee from you .
1st Kings 21 : 8-14
Then Jezebel wrote letters in Ahab’s name, sealed them with his seal , and sent them to the elders and nobles who lived with Naboth in his city. In the letters she wrote: Proclaim a fast and give Naboth a seat of honor among the people . But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them testify , you have cursed both God and the king ! Then take him out and stone him to death .”
So the elders and nobles who lived in Naboth’s city did as Jezebel had instructed in the letters she had written to them. They proclaimed a fast and gave Naboth a seat of honor among the people.
And the two scoundrels came in and sat opposite Naboth, and these men testified against him before the people, saying , “ Naboth has cursed both God and the king! So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death . Then they sent word to Jezebel: Naboth has been stoned to death.”
2 nd Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation . The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!
Colossians 3:9-10
Do not lie to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

1st John 2:9-11
If anyone claims to be in the light but hates his brother, he is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no cause of stumbling in him . But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness. He does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
Ephesians 5: 25-27
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.
Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers , for they will be called sons of God.
Matthew 5: 21-48
You have heard that is was said to the ancients, Do not murder and anyone who murders will be subject to Judgement . but I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgement . Again , anyone who says to his brother, Raca, will be subject to the Sanhedrin, but anyone who says , You fool ! will be subject to the fire of hell.
So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
Reconcile quickly with your adversary , while you are still on the way to court. Otherwise , he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer , and you may be thrown into prison . Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.
You have heard that it was said, Do not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away . It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to depart in hell.
It has also been said, whoever divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce. But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife except for sexual immorality, brings adultery upon her. And he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients, Do not break your oath, but fufill your vows to the lord. But I tell you not to swear at all : either by heaven , for it is God’s throne ; or by the earth , for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great king .
Nor should you swear by the head , for you cannot make a single hair white or black. Simply let your yes be Yes and your No , No Anything more comes from the evil one.
You have heard that it was said, Eye for eye and tooth for tooth But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on the right check, turn to him the other also; if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well ; and if someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles . Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants borrow from you.
You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy . But I tell you , love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you,what reward will you get ?
Do not even tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers , what are you doing more than others? Do not even Gentiles do the same?
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
