Homeless Addict dies and meets Jesus He was homeless and kicked out a homeless shelter . I was 12 years old drinking. He was 16 doing weed and cocaine His friends called struggling he replied [don’t call me this late again ] His friend ended up shooting himself you never know what someone is going through. For a decade after that I couldn’t share that story with anyone I bottled it down with alcohol and drugs feeling guilty Before that moment the drugs and alcohol was used for fun but others than that moment was consciously using drugs to mask how I was feeling masking emotions, trying to cope with life around me Fast forward to November 6th 2015 Drug use still lying to my partner Driving off unconscious he was found by police the police carry him out the car and he has no idea what’s going on That moment in the courtroom didn’t scare him straight to get him clean and sober it didn’t get him to stop he couldn’t find what would get him to stop . He wanted to kill himself one day and he got his drugs out his desk and didn’t want to use it and started crying . I had a realization with no where else to turn he heard a voice saying pray and no one was there but it was a distinct voice . he heard it again and he was so weak and he uttered god out his mouth and felt arms wrapped around him from behind and hug him . God got on his knees with him to show him that even in his darkest moments hardest and lowest moments he was there with me and after that I ended up calling the CEO and quitting the company and he went back to Montana where his charges were and being homeless for the next 8 months was kicked out of the homeless shelter. He was going to bible study Tuesdays Going to church on Sunday and AAA meetings for months he couldn’t find the human power to stop at all. He told god he was done he not doing anything . He asked him to let him die . He said its time to go he was screaming yelling and didn’t care didn’t thinkj it mattered at all. Its time to go he had peace come over him. He took the first step Asking for help in bible Surrendering to them After bible study got a work from god I need to pray for you Praying verses over him and speaking and he feels it leaving spirit of occult and he growled at him and he felt weights come off of him when that happened after that day he got a text from drug dealer and the spirit of the holy spirit moved through his body and picked up the phone and texted him and he realized after he came back that that wasn’t him Jesus is sitting next to him after he saw text Brandon wasn’t there . He was In the restaurant he stopped immediately and knew was happening and he gave him gratitude and continuously thanked him for getting him through the addiction. Every spiritual practice after that was defeated he knew who he was and who was calling him to do his work. Had work to do to recover The 12 steps needed to be done On day 25 picked him up did his steps tells everything and release it and what makes you tick . Day 26 6:30 am and he looks at the sunrise had an awakening no desire to drink or do drugs new rebirth . He opened up to anything is possible Day 30 was doing cigarettes Day 38 he ran a mile in 2 min 18 seconds he came to god’s side He working on his recovery need to help other’s he need to give hope. Nov .6 2019 Published a book all over the world Found recovery through is . Dec. 2019 went to conference in California Man walked up to me and said your book changed my life Will you sign it for me 3 weeks sober when I signed it and he still sober now It sparked a new idea getting recovered with only opportunity to getting free from the pain and addiction. So important share our stories out loud during our recovery The mission of raising up an army of recovering addicts to tell their stories in powerful and impactful ways that will free others from bonding ways .
