Psalm 101:7
He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
If we are told to write about our stories on deception we all have something to talk write about in this particular topic.
We find deception is everything
Deception became a normal thing in marriages in today’s day in age
You find everyone doing it husband’s talking to mistress wives talking to high school sweetheart and kids sneaking out or talking back to parents .
It is used to coverup another sin for example.
If someone commits adultery in their marriage for a prolonged period a deal od deception will be used there.
Deception will be used to delete text messages and make phone calls outside the house. Deception will be used to lie about their whereabouts when committing adultery.
It was used in the beginning, and it used in the end.
Deception is a lie and making sure that people believe it
A lie is just an act of something that’s not true
You tell lies you don’t care if they believe your idea or lie
Satan did in the garden of Eden he deceived her by the lie he told
The devil is a father of lies
John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth , because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, no speaketh of his own : for he is a liar, and the father of it.
If the devil is a father of lies that means lies and deceit is of the devil.
So I encourage you not to be have like a child of the devil .
Tell the truth in all that you do in whatever situation you find yourself in.
Little white lies whatever you paint a lie is still a lie .
Let us be a child of god and tell the truth which is why we need to be vigilant against this sin.
Lies requires zero effort
Ephesians 4:25
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.
Are you a lying believer?
Are you telling a lie with ease and don’t feel anything behind it?
You are children of light of God.
The truth is in you.
Deceiving you is of the devil.
You cannot allow the spirit of deceit to take over your life.
It is for you to become more like Jesus Christ and god hates mouths that tell lies because it is of the devil.
John 8:32
He wants us to live by the truth.
Truth is the basis of all things .
There is no neutral ground
No middle its either you for god of truth or for the devil who is the father of lies.
This is why if you reject the truth you reject god and the way to god.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way , the truth , and the life :
No man cometh unto the father, but by me.
The truth must be in us .
Where there is no truth in you ,you are no better than the antichrist you have allowed in deceit the nature of Satan in you.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
But we will not boast of things without our measure , but according to the measure of the rule which god hath distributed to us, a measure to reach ever unto you.
For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure as though we reached not unto you ; for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ .
No boasting of things without our measure , that is of other man’s labor but having hope when your faith is increased , that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly.
Satan has a purpose for the deceit .
What are the reasons:
Manipulation
You are made to believe that what they have done is real
The goal is to manipulate you to deceive is the ultimate goal in every form of deceit .
Husbands manipulating the wife.
God has not called you to manipulate.
The sad thing is people have used the word of god to manipulate people too they twist the scripture and make people believe lies.
Satan used the word of god on Jesus in the wilderness
He used the word of god on him
He tried manipulate him to believe him
You are of the devil
2. Personal interest
The pastor into the business of people doing things against their will many have spent all they have because of the deceit of men and woman.
Desperate to get from other people
The devil is happy because people trying to be believers are lost .
Feels good to do it
It is not possible to run away from the devil tell him
You are not interested in deceit.
